Our mission is to provide guidance and wisdom on end of-life services. While we do charge for our services in what has become a very commercial industry, we are committed as a charity to offer innovative programs that provide financial assistance, free options, and programs to meet the needs of our faith community.
CFCS offers at no charge, to anyone, of any faith, who has cremated remains at home or is considering scattering, the dignified committal of the remains at any of our cemeteries. The committal will occur at the All Souls Remembrance Crypt and then the remains will be permanently interred within the consecrated grounds of the Catholic CemeteryClick here for more information
With the Mother Teresa Program, CFCS is able to give back to the community by ensuring that those in need in our community receive sacred and dignified funeral, cremation and cemetery services.Click here for more information
This unique program allows for graves or crypts already owned by families to be transformed into a family estate. Depending on the grave or crypt selected, a number of cremated remains can typically be added. The plot will serve as a family’s final gathering place, allowing family members who have lived apart to be together on their final journey.Click here for more information
This program provides caring funeral and cemetery financial support for those who have suffered the loss of a child. The program also provides sacred interment services in the Order of Christian Funerals, for hospitals within the community, for the death of an unborn child at any of our Catholic Cemeteries.Click here for more information
Established in 1960, All Souls Cemetery serves the Catholic communities in Cortland, Warren, and the surrounding Trumbull County area. Throughout the past 59 years over 8,000 burials have taken place. The park-like grounds are proudly maintained and cared for, creating a peaceful, serene experience for our visitors. Currently, 63 of the cemetery’s 100 acres have been developed, leaving over thirty acres of consecrated land free to meet the needs of our current and future generations.
The first mausoleum was completed in 1998 and the second in 2013. Both mausoleums feature engravings of Our Lady and various Saints which represent prominent parishes within the community. Situated between the two mausoleums is a columbarium wall for cremated remains. In 1980, an exact replica of Michelangelo’s “Pieta” was erected in the cemetery. This statue continues to be a focal point of the cemetery and serves as the centerpiece of the Ceremonial Garden.
The cemetery provides options for traditional ground burials, cremation burials, cremation niches, mausoleum crypts, and family estates. Our Family Service Advisors recognize the challenges of end-of-life planning and are here to assist you with care and compassion whether you are planning for the future or need to make immediate arrangements. All Souls has always and will always be a sacred place of remembrance, a place to mourn those we have loved, a place to seek inspiration and solace, and a place to celebrate life.
