Melvin W. Rohrig

Age 81, of Canton died Monday, December 5, 2022 in Aultman Hospital following an extended illness. Born February 18, 1941 in Fulda, Ohio to the late Walter A. and Elizabeth M. (Crock) Rohrig. He was a Canton resident most of his life and retired from the Timken Company in 1997 after 38 years of service. He was a member of St Mary/St Benedict Catholic Parish. Preceded in death by three sisters, Anna Mary Strubel, Irene Michel, Marcella Crum; five brothers, Andrew, Elmer, James, Ralph and Paul Rohrig. He is survived by two daughters, Debi Moauro, Sharon (David) Knight; three grandchildren, Jack Knight, Bryar Knight, Hannah Moauro; one great granddaughter, Halayna Uriarte; one brother, John (Bernadine) Rohrig; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday, Dec 9, 2022 at 10:00 am in St. Mary's Catholic Church,1602 Market Ave S, Canton, OH 44707. Interment in Calvary Cemetery.
