Elizabeth A, Drapcho

Warren- Elizabeth A. Drapcho , 87, passed away Monday, November 14, 2022, at Aventura Humility House in Austintown. 

She was born December 13, 1934, in Warren, Ohio, to the late Andrew John and Anna Marie (Komar) Jenyk.  She was a graduate of Warren Harding High School and attended YSU.  Elizabeth was a third grade teacher and organist at St. James Catholic Church in Warren. She was fondly known as Miss. Betty to her students. She was a homemaker, loving mother and wonderful baker. Her cookies and kolachi were the best. Most of all she enjoyed having her family gather together for holidays and special occasions.   

She is survived by her daughters, Maryann (John) Celidonio, Michele (Michael) Scott and Marie Drapcho; son, James (Alysia) Drapcho; grandchildren, Laura Celidonio and Joseph Scott and great grandchildren, Owen and Elise Votaw.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Henry A. Drapcho, who passed in 2006, four brothers and five sisters.

The family would like to thank the staff of Aventura at Humility House for their compassionate care.

A mass of Christian burial with take place Thursday, November 17, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 4659 State Route 46, Cortland, Ohio 44410 with Father Kish officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to service at the church. Burial will take place at All Souls Cemetery in Cortland following the service.
