Christa Marie (Moses) Rich

Christa Marie (Moses) Rich, 71, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2023, surrounded by her

loving family. She was born September 28, 1951 in Canton, Ohio, to the late Frederick and Edna

(Coury) Moses.

A longtime resident of Canton, Christa was a 1969 graduate of Central Catholic High School. She

was a Kindergarten teacher’s assistant at Mason Elementary School and a hairstylist for O’Neil’s

department store at Mellett Mall. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Joseph

Rosary Altar Society, and the Lebanese American Club. Christa was a devoted wife, mother, Situ,

sister, and daughter who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, reading and playing

with her granddaughters, and was well loved by her Kindergarten students.

Her memory will be treasured always by her loving husband, Joseph Rich, with whom she

celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary on May 27, 2022; son, Adam(Kelsey) Rich and their

daughters Ellie and Lucy; brothers, the late William(Gail) Moses and Frederick (Marcia) Moses;

many wonderful and loved nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends who

made her life special.

Family and friends are welcome for visitation, Thursday, February 9, 2023 from4:00 to 7:00 PM,

Lamiell Funeral Home, Canton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted, Friday, February 10,

2023 at 10:00 AM, St. Joseph Catholic Church, Canton, with Father Brian Cline as Celebrant.

Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or Central Catholic High

School.
