Donald F. Sabatino

Donald F. Sabatino, 85, of Massillon, OH, passed away unexpectedly on January 31, 2023.

He was born on June 4, 1937 to the late Alfonso and Anna (Prestier) Sabatino in Canton, OH .

Don was a graduate of McKinley High School. He was a veteran of The United States Navy and

retired from the United States Postal Service. He was member of St. Joseph Catholic Church,

Massillon, OH. Don loved to travel to Niagara Falls, Myrtle Beach, Jekyll Island, and Amish

country. He was a very outgoing person and never met a stranger.

Don is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Lisa (Saylor) Sabatino; children, Donny (Jodi)

Sabatino and Joseph (Amanda) Sabatino; grandchildren, Italina, Phoebe, and Tristan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Carrie Sabatino;

granddaughter, Gabi Sabatino; siblings, Eleanor Pentella, Lucille Nye, and Monsignor Robert

Sabatino.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 5, 2023 from2pm-4pmat Paquelet Funeral Home,

Massillon, OH.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by Fr. Raymond Paul on Monday, February 6, 2023,

10:30 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Canton, OH. Burial will following Calvary Cemetery.
