Pauline M. (Dolhun) Dureska

Pauline M. (Dolhun) Dureska of Canton, passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 21st. She celebrated her 99th birthday on January 15th. Born in Canton to the late Frank and Mary (Adamow) Dolhun, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Steve Dureska, daughter Lorraine Lahey, brothers John and Peter Dolhun, and infant sister Stella Dolhun. Pauline was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. A graduate of Timken Vocational High School, Pauline worked for the Timken Company before becoming a stay-at-home Mom. She returned to the workforce when her children were older and worked for many years at The Klingstedt Brothers Company, and had fond memories of her years there and especially her co-workers. Pauline was known for her friendly outgoing personality, and was a great cook and baker.

She is survived by her sons Dr. Peter (Patti) Dureska, David (Laura) Dureska, grandchildren Seann, Melissa, Nicole, Geoff, Ryan, Jason, Kyle, and Michael and 11 great grandchildren.

The family extends its sincere thanks to Bethany Nursing Home for their excellent care of Pauline for the past nine months.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, March 4th from 10 to 10:45 am at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian burial to follow at 11:00 am, Rev. Fr. Brian Cline celebrant. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
