Kathryn A. “Babe” Gresko, 82, entered peacefully into rest Monday, Nov. 14, 2022, at Windsor House St. Mary’s Alzheimer’s Center, Columbiana.

She was born May 16, 1940, in Youngstown, the daughter of Frank and Angeline Tankovich Regich and was a lifelong area resident.

Babe was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends. She was a longtime member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish in McDonald and a 1958 graduate of McDonald High School.

On May 13, 1961, Babe was united into marriage with Charles “Chuck” Gresko and they shared 46 years together until his passing March 1, 2007.

Her memories will be cherished and remembered by those she leaves behind, daughter, Patricia A. “Patty” Courtney of McDonald; and grandchildren, Dakota “Kody” Courtney of McDonald and Cheyenne “Joey” Courtney of Carmel, Ind.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles “Chuck” Gresko; sons, Charles “Chuckie” Gresko and James “Jimmy” Gresko; and brother, Frank “Frankie” Regich.

Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2022, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 618 Ohio Ave., McDonald, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the church.

Inurnment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Austintown.
